Hippos are large, have thick skin, and are capable of living both on land and in water. They often live in areas of rivers, lakes and swamps, and are one of the most dangerous mammals in Africa due to their ferocious personality and strength.

Lions often choose to hunt hippos to demonstrate their strength and demonstrate territorial sovereignty. But not all hunts go smoothly and adult hippos are ready to give lions painful lessons.
