Baboons are large primates, present in many areas of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. They live in herds with a complex social structure, dominated by males.
Baboons are omnivorous, with a diet consisting of fruits, seeds, leaves, insects and small animals. They are very intelligent and use a variety of sounds, gestures and expressions to communicate.
Sometimes baboons also hunt to improve their food. Newborn impalas are baboons’ favorite prey and these are painful moments.
The baboon starts stalking when the mother impala is about to give birth and waits for the moment the impala is born.
Without hesitation, he rushed to enjoy the impala meat feast while the mother impala was in pain. The mother impala tried to attack the baboon but everything seemed to be out of control, the cries of pain gradually faded and disappeared, replaced by the sounds of the baboon eating and drinking.
