A group of baboons carried out a daring egg theft in broad daylight at Sweni Hide in Kruger National Park.
Initially, they showed no interest in the geese guarding the nest. However, one of the baboons was quick to snatch some of the eggs, causing the geese to panic and chase them but failed.
Meanwhile, another baboon snuck into the nest to steal more eggs. Despite the geese’s efforts to chase them, the baboons escaped and enjoyed their spoils.
This story shows the intelligence and adaptability of animals in the wild.
