The following amazing moment was recorded on YouTube and shows a seagull trying to save its pup from an eagle.

The eagle swooped down from above and successfully grabbed the baby seal onto a high cliff. The eagle intended to have lunch right at the cliff, but the mother seal was present and the fight officially began.

Luckily for the seal, its babies are quite heavy and the eagle cannot fly.

The baby seal’s leg has fallen off the cliff and this is a great opportunity for a rescue. The mother seal immediately rushed into the water and tried to pull her baby into the water.

The rescue was then successful and their family left in the eagle’s regret.
