A guide who specializes in wildlife photography trips had a memorable experience while tracking a pack of jackals. Early in the morning, as the sun was rising, he spotted the pack moving towards him. They were chasing a group of antelopes but quickly gave up when the antelopes fled into the jungle.

When the excitement subsided, he noticed a herd of wild buffalo not far away. Immediately, the pack of jackals changed their target and ran towards the buffalo. They quickly separated a weak buffalo from the herd and brought it to the ground. Although the buffalo was not sick, due to the prolonged drought, it was weak and could not resist.

Although the pack of dogs was large, because the buffalo’s skin was too thick, they had difficulty bringing it down. Some jackals even lost patience and chased after another herd of buffaloes.
